Parent Tips Back to Parent's Corner

  1. Make sure modeling or acting is 100% your son or daughter's interest not yours.
  2. Agents will determine if to represent a model by his/her parent's attitude.
  3. Do not talk for the new model, we need to hear from them-Nothing is more unappealing to a client or an agent.
  4. Agents are not interested in representing your son or daughter if you are impatient or negative. The results are never guaranteed.
  5. Parents can not second guess the agents or the struggle is not worth it. You must trust your agent and their past success stories. They have done this for a long time.
  6. Be supportive when they do not get the job.
  7. Parents should be great parents and Agents should be great agents. New Faces should be great models. Do not confuse the roles.
  8. Your agent is responsible for submitting you for work. The client makes the final choice, so parents do not blame your booker or agent. This is not personal.
  9. Parents be prepared for the new face to test with a photographer a few times before having much financial worth.
  10. Parents thank your agents for considering the New Face for a job. The rapport with your Booking Agent is the most important thing. Do not shoot the messenger.

GOOD LUCK PARENTS!
